Check to make sure you don't have 2 blades on your cutter. I have done that several times because fiscars blades are so thin. Now i put my thumb and finger over the hole in the middle of the blade and squeeze like i am snapping my fingers. That usually separates them.

Wow, this was great advice!

I keep a small piece of batting and a small square of rubberized carpet padding in my blades packs to use to separate the blades and protect my fingers. I did the very same thing when I took a class and put in a new blade, the instructor knew immediately what the problem was!

OMGosh, maybe that is what is going on with the blade in mine now! Thanks.
