Some time ago I posted asking what I needed to make my handmade pillow quilting come together . Well I finished them . put them into the washer to wash them. Learned something Fast. I really New a Sewing mechine. All my hard work was taken out with one wash in the washer. So maybe by winter I will have my new mechine and I can try this again. I want to thank all U ladies that gave me input of what I needed to do to make this work. thanks again.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I know exactly how you feel - I made an all hand-sewn cathedral window quilt and it came apart in the wash,too. Have fun shopping for a machine!

I'm so sorry!
The good news is that you can sew and quilt on even the most inexpensive machine. And you can use your hand-sewing skills on the quilting.

Its ok . it was good learning. and maybe by winter I will have it down and make the blanket I want for my bedroom. Thanks again ladies .

One of the first quilts I made was a flannel rag quilt and I didn't pre-wash. The red fabric bled all over everything in the first wash (I didn't know about Color Catchers then). I donated it to the Animal Shelter and kept quilting. Sounds like you have a good attitude. Keep asking questions and keep sewing.
