I just received good news from Sharon's daughter:

"Surgery went PERFECTLY. She is home resting. Eye patch over her "good" eye, so no computer today. She goes in the morning to have it removed. Don't know at this time how soon she'll be able to start seeing well enough to get on the computer.
She said she was going to be doing a lot of sleeping today - she'll need it because she has a lot of plans to catch up on when this eye is better!
Thank you so much for asking - when I talk to her later, I will let you know you all are thinking of her - - -"

Oh my, Thank you so much everyone. This is my first posting in 2 days and will probably be the last until my eye stops itching.......which is the worst part, but have meds for it and believe me, I'm using them! Still not seeing clearly, but that will come with time, so I'm really taking it easy and the Geezer is taking good care of me. They trimmed my eyelashes but promised they'd grow back fuller than what they were. I told them they should have done the lashes on the other eye, too, cause now I'll be lopsided! I've missed chatting with you all and will try and be back later. Hugs to one and all......SharonG/FL

Today is better....it's still blood shot and swollen, but haven't had to take anything for pain since last night. woohoo I'm thinking by next week, I should be back at the machine and sewing those blocks together!!!!

Life and summer canning and weed pulling has kept me from my hobby lately and I really miss it.
