| Out of curiosity I did a Mapquest. Close to 5 hours driving time for me. Even though the sale is MIGHTY tempting, I think I'm going to have to pass. I'll entertain myself with local yard sales as they're getting into high gear with the warm weather. Last weekend I snagged a whole summer wardrobe for my oldest grandson for less than $8. I'm so glad my DIL isn't squeemish about used kid clothes. I know some people are. But that's another topic. |

| I'm not sure how much fabric there is - I looked up the # and the business is listed as a jewelry store so it may be a little too risky to drive 5 hrs for! I know what you mean about used clothes. I've been buying our clothes at Thrift stores for a long time and both my mom and MIL were not thrilled about it. I have tried to explain that you can find new or almost new clothing there but to no avail. I did find a beautiful sweater at a thrift store this spring with pansies woven in. I knew my mom would love it so I sent it to her - and she did. She called me and was raving about how beautiful it was and that I shouldn't have. I just gently reminded her that I was a thrifty shopper. So the next time I talked to her I find out she went and had it cleaned before she wore it! (But she still wore it!) |
