In case anyone is interested, Bonnie Hunter posted this:

Dear Quilt Friends:

I have been contacted and asked to spread this info to you. It's important to get the word out to all the quilters you are in contact with, so could you please share this blog post with your email lists, message boards, flickr groups, twitter, wherever quilters gather to help get the word out?

This is from Ellen Medlock of the Ellen Medlock Studio Store in Tulsa, OK.

I still have tops to quilt and will be sending them along. I'll have to get DH to put off working on and moving the frame for a bit.

I have quilt tops that need a home. This might inspire me to get off my butt and quilt them. Thanks for noticing this, Sharon.

You're welcome. I think by the time we get our quilts completed and sent, they will be appreciated more. I wonder if we should put something special on the label referring to our group...something like, Pieced and Quilted by (your name and state) - GardenWeb Quilting Forum.

I can relate to both of you.....kinda of sad....or not! haha

Thanks for posting this information. I was about to start a baby quilt for my hairdresser (her 3rd child) when this hit the news...I think there's a child in OK that could use a snuggly quilt more than the hairdresser. The hairdresser's new baby will eventually get one..., just a bit later.
