Jewel Box quilt pattern

I am finishing a baby quilt and I need to tame my scraps AGAIN!
The jewel box pattern is older and I really like this one. The frame around the center is so pretty. I think I'll make this as an on going scrappy project.

Ooh, Rosa - I really like her color layout! Jewel box is one of my favs, too. That looks like a great ongoing project! At least you'll have an idea what size to cut your scraps to.

Rosa! You know very well that no matter how hard you try, those scraps will never be tamed!!! But I like the pattern you want to try it on. lol

Sharon you are so right lol!!!!!!!! I need to clean my sewing room but I gonna play with scraps!

RE: Jewel Box quilt pattern

I like the Jewel Box pattern. I've made 3 of them but never one that was all scrappy.
This one is unusual and looks lovely. I like the medallion-type center. It will look great with all the different colors.
Most of the ones I've done have been scrappy with a constant background fabric...guess it would be called a controlled scrappy.

That is a neat idea to make an ongoing project use of scrap fabrics. And like Donna said, you know what size pieces your need, too. I've bookmarked this one! Thanks.
