Rainbow Fan Project

Here's the completed top of a quilt kit I've been carrying to Retreat and home again more times than I care to count! It's finally done, and it'll go in the 'waiting to be quilted' pile until I get a plan together.

These are 2 1/2" paper pieced blocks using hand dyed fabrics. I'm thinking of a double chain link quilt pattern for the borders, using a rainbow variegated thread. I'll probably just tack in places throughout the body of the quilt. It'll just about stand up by itself without much help.

Yes, this quilt is only 15 1/2" x 17 1/2". Just a little project I've always wanted to do! ;)

Bev~ Quilt pieces listen to what you tell them to do and don't talk back! Much easier to be patient with them!

It's gorgeous, you did a beautiful job on it! That little scrappy border of all the fabrics is just perfect. I love doll-sized quilts!

Oh. My. Word. Jennifer! 2 1/2 inches???!!! It's a wonder you didn't go blind!!! I can't even imagine working on something like that! Your 'little project' is a beauty!
