Rita, I've done the same thing, and since I know I'm suseptible to messing up, I'm a bit more aware and careful when sewing strips on the diagonal. The more you attempt this, the easier it gets. Don't forget to do a victory dance when you get it right twice in a row! @:)

I do that at least once per quilt with the binding. It's usually because I'm too excited to finish the quilt (or so I tell myself).

I sew things wrong ALL the time. What really gets to me is when I sew wrong, take it out, and then sew it on wrong AGAIN lol!!!

Oh yeah, I've done this and done it more than once. I'm certain a ripper was invented within the first 30 minutes after the first needle was invented!

Rita I had problems pinning my blocks together, they were off by a bit. BECAUSE I LEFT OFF THE CHECKERED BORDER!!

I took off that row and add the border. Yesterday I finished the 3rd row and they were off a bit.

BECAUSE I LEFT OFF THE CHECKERED BORDER AGAIN LOL!!! I would blame it on the allergey meds, but I have done it before.

I hope I have time this afternoon to add the checkered border.

I'm bad about doing that when I paper piece. It's very frustrating when you make the same mistake 2 times, back to back!

UGH! I just sewed down an entire binding by sewing along the folded edge. I had managed to do such nice corners on that one too!! Didn't even notice it until I sat down to turn it over and sew it down and there were all those raw edges!! Brain Dead!!!!!!
