I thought about adding a 4 leaf clover, but then where wo uld I put it? Maybe I can find a button for the doornob. And maybe draw some clovers growing in the flower boxes. I'm not a "green" person, so this one was a bit challenging.

Adorable! I like yours much better than mine. I was saving my Easter type fabric for April's block. The tree fabric is perfect! Looks like fruit.

I know what you mean, Darla, I thought about the Spring/Easter colors for April, but I think I have another idea for that! I only have 3 more blocks to go (I started with July) and I think I'll be sad when I'm done!

Yours is very cute! How are you planning on doing the stitching on these? Will you sew it down as you quilt or are you going to sew down the edges before you piece it together? Invisible thread, or buttonhole, etc? Although it's more work, I've enjoyed using different colors for the buttonhole.

Thanks, Amy. I think I don't like mine as much because I'm trying to use my stash & would much prefer buying fun, new fabrics. :) Your blocks are so vibrant & colorful. The speckled fabric reminds me of coloring eggs. :)

I was thinking of doing similar to yours with the buttonhold stitching with different colors. Exact colors aren't necessary with this project...which is good. Some stitching will need to be done in colored embroidery thread no matter to make some of the detailing. However, I was also thinking of using invisible thread to make it go quicker. I haven't decided!

Might do some of both? Some pieces are going to be hard to stitch down due to intricate images being cut out, so I might invisible thread those.
