As most know I live in a rural small town so it's hard not to bump into everyone at some point.
A classmate had moved away after graduation, 1970, and just moved back last year. This is a prominent family in our town.
She helped me with the blood drive and we rehashed growing up here, moving back, and they just had twin grands born. Her husband is a minister and she was excited about the changes they were making in the church. She gave the impression of having a great life.
Friday our class president emailed that she had taken her life by hanging herself. Her brother hung himself in the same place 7 years ago. The only sibling left has a son in a mental correctial institution for murder.
Our town (county) is in shock. It's something you would read in a Steven King novel. So much tradegy for one family. It made my problems seem very small.
