Civil War FQ swap sign ups.

This is the sign-up thread for the Civil War FQ swap. Sign up will last until Jan 20th and packages should reach me by Feb 15th.

Rules are simple.
1) You will need to send one quality FQ for each person who signs up, including yourself. You will get one back from each person.

2) Be sure to include a STAMPED (not metered) self addressed envelope in your package so I can return your goodies to you.

3) Include your screen name on the envelope so I can be sure who's is who's.

Please copy and paste so no one gets left off the list.
So here we go:

    Ready, set, go!
    A couple of questions.
    1. What exactly constitutes Civil War fabrics?
    2. Being in Canada can I send some money for stamps? And how much?
    Looking forward to this.

I don't have ANY Civil War fabric - what a good way to start!

    1. Lola

P.S. Civil War fabrics are a style of fabric that I think tend to be more dusty in color. If you go to a fabric website, like hancock of paducah, and type civil war into the search box you will get pages of examples

Thanks Lola. That is pretty much what I imagined. Just needed confirmation

    I'm in.

My CW fabrics are all darker with small prints. Lots of brownish colors, maroons. Blue tends to be greyer and go to indigo. Lola's right, just shop it and you'll see. I don't see as much green as I'd like. My yellows are mustard.

I'm doing a large applique wallhanging right now using CW so can use more variety than what I already have.

Yes, Theresa, you can send money. Just send the same as the postage you put on the envelope. If there is a difference we can work it out, no problem.

Going through my stash, I have found several pieces which I think fill the bill. Can we do doubles or should they all be different?

Theresa, they should all be the same, but if you cannot do that some can be different.
