It's really fun and yes, as my piles of fabric attest to, I buy for many, many reasons! Just reminded me I need to make another potato pouch. Better search for something fun (from stash that is!)

I bought some goofy cat fabric just b/c it made me laugh. It sat in my stash for a long time then I used is as the outer border on a king size quilt. It still makes me smile, and I'm glad I used it!

Life is more fun when you insert a dose of whimsy anyplace you care to slip it in. Dirty laundry requires a sense of humour. LOL It's precious. Yes, I do sticky whimsy in here and there. In my last home I kept horses and the door dividing the kitchen from my laundry room was papered in an almost life-sized photo mural of a horse peering in from behind a dutch door to his stall. It made that door look like the stable door with a horse standing in my kitchen. Many a morning it made me grin as I sipped my cuppa Joe.
