Christmas Tree quilt pics

I just love this pattern!! I saw a picture of the tree and it is simply 8" blocks with the holly appliqued for the tree shape. I am either very late for Christmas or very early lol!!!!

What a great idea. Maybe if I start now I can make something for Xmas 2012. Applique would be even better. Hmmmm.

I saw that, too, Rosa, and thought it was a neat idea. I was thinking the holly leaves could be raw edged and eventually fray. But, maybe the vision in my head isn't what it would really look like. @:)

Sharon I thought of raw edge too, I thinks it's a great idea.
Linda and Kate,IMO it is the holly leaves and the pinwheels that makes it so cute!! Any blocks in between them would be gorgeous!!!
I looked for Christmas fabrics online and didn't really see a lot this year.
