Harvest I-Spy quilt

Another quilt top made of 6"x9" charms from the Bottle Block / Canning Jar swap. Since I used all the brights in the Yummy quilt, these were all of the muted and "dull" colors left over, so I went with that for the design.

The I-Spy fabrics include mushrooms, apples, french fries, cabbages, asparagus, walnuts, corn and pumpkins. Each fabric has a 6x6 square set on the bias and the matching 3x6 rectangle runs in a strip, so there's a nice matching game opportunity in this quilt.

You can also see where I sewed some of the background fabrics on backwards, the lighter background areas are the reverse side of the fabric. Rather than tearing out any seams, I just went with it and arranged the mistakes symmetrically.

The wide border is a grocery market fabric, it was also used in the fundraiser quilt for my community's food pantry.
