These blocks were sent to me with the rest of the fabric she had left over. I squared them up, made a few more blocks and ended up making this border. I've never done anything except a plain border, but maybe I'll start paying a little more attention to them. This is just the top and measures about 57" X 65". It looks kind of cozy to me.

| Thanks, Beverly. I liked being able to use up the rest of the fabric. I cheated at the corners and made HST's for a mitered look. There's just a few pieces left and they'll probably end up in a crumb block. Sharon |

It does look cozy Sharon!! I am the same about borders and I am going to start paying more attention to them. Yours are perfect for the quilt. The idea of HSTs for a mitered corer is great!!!! Rosa |

I love your Yellow Brick Road. So Many of you have done this pattern and I have not but I keep admiring them finished, On the TODO list. The white and scrappy border is the perfect finish for a perfect quilt. Jean |

| Thank you Jean. I found this to be a challenge as I doubt I would have put some of those fabrics together. I made the borders as a unit and then sewed them on. Sharon |
