Pieced-Border Pillow Case

I got this pattern free on the internet. I've only made one pair, but hope to get some made for christmas.

Yes. They are lined underneath the piecing so the seams don't show.

gauraladay, I was thinking the same thing. LOL. That would be a wonderful gift to give and especially to get! I'm old enough to remember when pillowslips and sheets didn't come in a set and they were always plain, usually white. Such beautiful patterns came about to dress them up.

What a wonderful surprise it always was to pull the covers back after laundry day and find what pretty embroidered or tatted-edge pillowcase was under the spread. Gosh, I'd like to make some now. You did a beautiful job.
