Jeans Bag

I made this years ago but don't think I ever showed it here. I was getting ready to send it on to the thrift store and showed my DGD who is now using it for a book bag.

I left in the zippers, just cut around them, left in the pockets and cut around them....they can be used for hide away places or storage. It's waaaay crude, but I like it. The handles are from the bibbies...note them hooked to the zippered pocket and I put some lace around the other zippered area. I just put the pieces on one of those big bandana handerchiefs and left raw edges. It was fun to make.

Looks like something my DGD's would love.
The zipper idea is great.
Actually I would love one too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are always so creative Ms. Sharon!

Thanks, Rosa. It was fun to do and I wouldn't mind doing another one if I could find some neat jeans with zippers, pockets etc. Using the bibbie straps helped for the handles, too. I'm so lazy!

Check your local Goodwill! You can get all the jeans you want for just a few dollars and the money you spend will go towards helping people find jobs. It's a win-win!

RE: Jeans Bag

Thanks, Kate, I'm going to have to check them out this week. I like the carpenter jeans because of all the little hidey places!
