This recipe is a winner!!!

Taco Junk (all phases)

It's sooooo good and freezes well, too!

1 pound ground turkey breast (or extra-lean ground beef)
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes -- canned, no sugar added
14 1/2 ounces black beans ※ canned, drained
14 ½ ounces garbanzo beans (chick peas) ※ canned, drained
Taco seasoning (I used 1/2 pkg as it's really too salty for me)
1 package ranch-style dressing mix (again, I used 1/2 pkg)
2 cups salsa or picante sauce (I used more)
(I added bunches of onions and some celery although they could be added raw to give more of a crunch! I also added a little Splenda.)

Brown meat and drain fat. Put all ingredients in crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours. You can simmer on the stove for about the same amt of time. (I used the stove.)

Put it on top of a bunch of lettuce, top with lo-fat shredded cheese (I didn't) and fat-free sour cream.

I like crock-potting it too! What's your favorite tried and true recipe?????? Tis the season to dump it in and forget it for a few hours..... @:)
