Hope everyone has a good week ahead

Hope everyone has a good week ahead. Week before last I spent being mom to my DD children. It was a handful but I am glad for the opportunity. My DD went with DH to Wyoming.

This week I'm going back so we can "play". I am to help her with her Christmas project of making aprons for 5 of her close friends. She doesn't sew much but she made the first one while she was here this summer and it came out nicely.

I am going to do the kaleidoscope lesson for Oct. I have my fabric and hope to get it cut as soon as it is washed & dry. I'm a little nervous but I guess the worse I can do is get a bunch of unrelated pieces of fabric-maybe I could use them in a crazy quilt. Ha.

I do hope everyone has a great week ahead.

It is nice to have the grands for short periods isn't it.

I am so glad your DD is making her Christmas presents. I just love to get things someone has taken the time to make themselves. I'm sure they will come out just perfect.

I haven't started my kaleidoscope yet, gotta get up to mom's and pick up the machine.

Thanks, Sally. I'm hoping for a good week! We run DGD around to her after school activities (we say we're on retainer), but this week, our DD is going to MN on Thurs for the Cousins Week-end so we'll have DGD overnight Thurs and then get her to school Fri morning. I just need to get my sewing/quilting things off the twin bed so she can sleep in it! Don't know how much sewing I'll get done this week....want to get to the used book store and KMart tomorrow and maybe the LQS on Tuesday.......just to see what they have on sale... @:)

Hi Sally,

I got to keep my K-bug 3 nights last week by Friday I was pooped. But I loved every minute. Brian is doing much better since they got the rod out of his leg the infection is slowly healing too. He is off the pain meds and doing well. I have been working on several different swaps for next month.

And getting real excited about the retreat the end of the month with Carolyn in Texas. So I am fixin to get some UFO's for that.
