| Last weekend was the county fair. I always get inspired walking around the displays of quilts and other needle work.
This year I had the privilege of judging the (children’s) open goat show and the open chicken show.

| What an unusual chicken-pretty. When my children were young a friend gave them a pair of bantams. Then we ended up with two pair. We shortly moved to the country and they had chickens , ducks, quail, a pair of doves, geese, and on and on. They had rabbits and my son showed them. I think it was a great childhood. I have seen similar chickens at the fair. TFS |

| What a lovely chicken and what a perfect name for her. It is a good thing we have a small lot or I would have a collection of all kinds of animals. Still want a mini-horse. beverly |
