Last night we had an electrical storm and I didn't get to my computer in time and it went out and I had to call the Phone co to get back on-line today and so that's not so bad--it could have been worse. The worst thing (I have Firefox) and my entire bookmark system has been wiped out. I have tons of quilting and fabric websites. I don't even know where to start. Does anyone know of anyway to get the bookmarks back? It is totally blank. I had all kinds of folders and subfolders. That'll teach me to back things up. Boo Hoo.

Have you tried to contact firefox and see if they can help? If you have a restore point saved you should be able to restore to that point and only things added past that will be lost. beverly

Sorry to hear that Geri, hope you get them all back. I accidentally deleted all my saved websites and couldn't get them back. Maybe that restore will do the trick. Let us know! Mel

I did read through some of the Firefox instructions to try to restore but I am afraid to try it as I really don't understand it well enough.Next week my son will be here from FL. and I as he is a computer engineer he will be able to do it. In the meantime I went to my history and re-installed a lot of the websites from that. Thanks for your suggestions.

I did the same thing. SIL installed this for me "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\MozBackup 1.4.3\Backup.exe" I think the link goes to that site.
Here is a link that might be useful: MozBackup
