Wrap around porch floor?

I am putting on a wrap around porch, and have a question regarding the flooring. I plan to use 3" tongue in groove flooring. The porch on the front part of my house is 7.5 feet deep, and on the side of my house where it wraps around it is 10 feet deep. I would like the siding to run perpendicular to the house on both the front and side (for water runoff).

My question is, since the depth of the porch varies, if I run flooring perpendicular on all sides, I will need to miter the floor where the porch begins to wrap. However, when I miter the floor where thethe porch begins to wrap, I will not have a 45 degree angle for the flooring, and the seam lines will not line up, which wont look good.

Is it possible to run a 3" piece of flooring on the angle first, and then butt the flooring up to the angled piece of flooring (thereby offsetting the seams that don't line up by 3"), or would that still not look good? Has anyone ever done something similar?

Thanks!
