The contractor put in the wrong spacing underneath and now I have to redo it The srew holes need to be filled in, but what will work? Any suggestions from someone who has experience with this?

Remove the board and cut off the section with the holes, going back a ways, and replace that section with a new board. The new board won't match right away because the sun needs to "cure" the material, for lack of a better word. With time it should match unless you get into a diff lot color variation, but I guess that's better than holes. Was this contractor recommended by someone?
