Bison Deck Supports

Anyone use Bison Deck Supports to install a ground level deck? I'm looking at the Level It product and will install joists (instead of the Bison deck tiles). How much do the supports cost and how hard is it to work with?

RE: Bison Deck Supports

I am considering using Level It to compensate for a sloped roof. The slope is 1" per foot, so pretty steep. The roof is over an enclosed porch and is built as standard roofing structure. Would this system would be too heavy of a load? What is the standard supported weight for a roof?

Here is a picture of the system:

RE: Bison Deck Supports Costs

The estimates I have gotten have the pedestals around $14 and the couplers around $3. The end cost will depend on how many slope compensation pieces you need per pedestal. Those are around $2.50 per unit. The system can be rather pricey. As for installation, there are some great Youtube videos showing each step.
