If your Endless Summer propane deck heater won't stay lit, here is an easy way to solve that problem assuming that the pilot light is not staying/showing lighted.Shut off the propane supply. Remove just the four screws holding the burnerscreen. Lift it off with the entire top. Below and to the side of the burner is the pilot light assemby. You will see the spark lighter, the pilot light tube and the pilot light sensor. Stand back while you try, several times, starting it. You should see and hear the spark jumping across the pilot light tube to the pilot lght sensor.

Using CARB or brake cleaner (auto store or walmart)insert the red tube of the cleaner into the pilot light tube, and squirt a couple of times. Wait 5 minutes for the cleaner to evaporate. Then turn the propane on and try staring the heater again. The pilot light and burner should stay lit and be all blue, with no yelow.

When, next the pilot light starts to show yellow, it's time to repeat this cleaning process.
