Are the sections of decking removable........or permanent?

Thanks, we are enjoying the space and the gas fire pit takes the edge off the fall nights!

The decking is 20x20 ipe tiles, they are removable, connected with feet that keep them sitting a couple of inches off the the roofing membrane below.
