Need to replace front porch flooring

Posted by bostonhome (My Page) on

I have a wrap around covered porch and the floor boards are rotting and warped. I would like to go with a composite material that will be longer-lasting and lower maintenance than wood, and will not need to be painted. Can anyone recommend what they have used and worked? I am looking for something that will look authentic and appropriate for my 1870 Victorian house.

I found this one product from CorrectPorch that looked interesting:

I think its correct deck that we used on our back porch steps and we like it very much.
I never thought I would want composite for a porch floor but I have to admit that this product specifically for porch floors looks a lot more like a traditional floor than I expected. Does it still have gaps between the boards like the other kind? Just something to consider and make sure you want, if so.
