Has anyone installed an Alumawood Newport Patio Cover? My husband and I are wanting a full shade patio cover (18x17)and I came across Alumawood on the internet. It seems to be very popular in warm climates (Arizona, California). We live in Ohio and wonder how it would hold up. I know they can engineer it for up to 110mph winds and up to 60lbs psf snow load so in theory it should hold up.

Any other ideas for a full shade patio cover?

Have you considered shade sails? You can order in any size, the fabric is durable and long lasting and they are very stylish.
