Wondering about ipe plugging stuff. Looks like plenty do it with a forstner bit and drill a pilot afterward and some use a drill/countersink combo. There is the Starborn bit and it comes standalone or in a package of plugs and screws. I like the idea of the combo countersink tool but, I don't need their screws as I already have screws. Also, I don't know if I can use different plugs with their smartbit setup. Again, I can't find their plugs without having to buy screws that I don't need. Trying to save some time as I'll have somewhere near 1,800 screws to plug so the countersink combo is tempting. Any suggestions or someone who knows if things are interchangeable please.
