| How about a painted faux rug with the colors in the bricks in the area between the door and the top of the steps? Just don't use a paint that just sits on the surface and makes it slippery, but use one that maintains the texture of the concrete. It could be simple diamonds or checks or stripes orsomething more complicated depending on your interest, time and abilities. Even 5 nice stripes that start 5 or 6 inches from the edge of the porch and run to the door would be nice in the brick color and that would be easy to mark out with painters tape. If you google painted rug on concrete you will get lots of results and how tos. Here is one. |
