I have a humble place and have just put on a new roof and painted the exterior. The Deck was done in a horrid Latex Spa-N-Deck yellowish color and has been stripped as best we could. We are ready to paint the deck and raw wood front porch as well.

The pics may look off in color but it is called Creme-De Le creme. A very mild soft yellow.

I have decided on a solid stain and the rails and pickets are going to match the white trim.

I need help choosing the walking surface colors.

I had a discussion with the painter about the joists, posts, and sides of the steps. I think he suggested to do it in the color I choose but I think the only thing that should not be white is the floor and steps. Your suggestions and comments please?
