Tile on Front Stoop

| We have a small front "stoop" (8'0" x 3'0") with a relatively short (6'0") walkway from the driveway. We were thinking about tiling both with slate tile. Is that a DIY job, and, if so, how "handy" do you have to be? I don't own a tile saw and have never used one, but it doesn't look that difficult. Anyone have any suggestions? |

| I can't help you, but I would have concerns about it being "slippery when wet". |
