Questions:
1. How did you do calcs on the weight of the kitchen to make sure the deck structure would support it?
2. How did you anchor the pergola posts?
3. What stain did you use on the pergola?
4. Where do you drain the sink to? Just under the deck onto the ground?
5. When's the party?

Answers:

1) I had a structural engineer take a look at the plans and I beefed up the footers a little where I knew the kitchen was going. I was planning on putting stone veneer on the sides, but that additional weight was not in the cards.
2) The pergola post go through the kitchen, through the deck and down to footers in the ground.
3) Pergola just has Cabots ATO in Jahara Brown
4) The sink just drains under the deck onto the ground. I thought about plumbing it into my sanitary, but it just wasn't worth it. It is basically used for watching down the counter and getting a glass of water.
5) The party is ongoing, we spend about all of our time out there.
