How do you store an outdoor rug in the winter?

Hi there,

We live in NY - have a balcony (live in an apartment) and this summer got a nice outdoor rug. I am worried about leaving it out all winter. It wasn't super cheap, and we love it and want to use it for summers yet to come.

I looked on Amazon for a "rug bag" to roll it up and zip it into (like the patio furniture bags) but couldn't find one.

Please give suggestions, thanks!

Are you going to store it outside (in a cover) or inside (like in a closet)?
