Yesterday we applied a Behr semi transparent deck stain and the color is awful. it was supposed to be med gray and it is blue. We must remove. Do we try a deck stain removal product before the 72hr drying period expires? We read the posts for removal of solid deck stains recommending sanding. Do we rent the sander now or try a removal product and power washer? Dose the stain need to be dry before sanding will work? Can we just put a darker stain over the top? Hope someone can help a couple of over sixty do-it-yourselfers. thanks
