Outdoor heating

Our cottage is close to 4,000 ft elevation so we would like to install some kind of outdoor heating and wondered if anyone has some experience with this. We have thought of ceiling mounted as well as floor mounted. Any experience with firepits? Thanks for any information.

ceiling mounted for outdoor? Confused?

You may want to consider a mountable infrared patio heater. This type heater runs on regular household electric current and is substantially less expensive to operate than propane patio heaters. This adaptable unit can be used indoors and outdoors and comes with a moveable mounting bracket.

Here is a link that might be useful: Infrared Patio Heater

Thank you Ann - this is what I had in mind. Our deck will be a covered deck - I think I confused Kevin.
