I just stained our new cedar deck w/a tinted Cabots deck stain in semi-transparent. I used a deck sponge? flat attachment for a paint roller handle instead of a roller or rag. This effect did not turn out great for one because it's streaky looking and the other the night got cold (frost in New England recently). I don't know what to do at this point due to the weather and the color. I don't love the color or the streakiness but don't have much time w/weather. Do I leave it until next year or remove the stain and reapply, hoping it will be warm enough to set and what do I apply the stain w/ROLLER this time? Ugh...new cedar deck.
