Concrete porch

We are building our in the country and decided to have concrete porches (3 sides of the house). They are finished smooth and will be slick when wet. I plan to have the concrete etched in a pattern. I would love to see some pictures if anyone has done this to their concrete porch.

unless you are painting them or installing a tile flooring later, i would not do them slick finish like a garage floor, leave them brushed. as you said they WILL be slippery! at the very least look into embedding some type of antiskid compound into the finish.

i need to repaint my garage floor right now, you will bust your butt in there when the floor is wet.
