I am in desperate need of help!
I am moving into a rental property in a month, and I need to build some sort of privacy fence. That seems easy enough. I'd planned on building a normal, wooden fence with full privacy.

The problem is that the current chain link fence is in between A LOT of trees. And it cannot be removed (landlord stupulation). I've had a couple of contractors look at it to give me some opinions and both have said that digging through the roots would be both time consuming and very expensive due to the amount of work.

The landlord doesn't want any of the trees cut down, so that's not an option either.

So what I'm left with is trying to find a way to both extend the current fence to about 6 and a bit feet, and create privacy. If anyone has ANY ideas of how to do this that would not look terrible, AND provide either partial or preferably full privacy, please help!
