| Anyone has any input in this? I am thinking of this or the regular patio cover with cedar post and matching shingles. What would be the pros and cons of either option? Positive ad negative responses are welcome, thank you. |

| I looked at your link. Nice concept. No familiarity with the company. What direction does your patio face? Do you need full shade or just some screening. Plan to use while raining? We installed lattace atop our pergola which provides about 50% sun block then added valances to obscure the low sun setting (or rising). Where we reside, the building department does not permit shingled roofs unless the structure conforms as if a room addition. Offering a concept in the event your install might be unlike the image on the website you linked. Here's our pergola and the link below included the plan. |
