Kristen Sugar,,, an outdoor finish on garapa,it being golden and all, will have to be,,,,, golden color for the total result to be,,,,,like golden color.

I have already tried twp ceder tone natural with good results on garapa.

Dont Use It!!! I posted this in a weak moment,,,The Kristen already knows not to use twp finish. J.

if not using woodzotic, Twp 115 honey tone is great for garapa.-george@eastteak

I am now considering the TWP finish in the honey tone. Do I have to 2 coats or can I do one coat? I am concerned about the layering effect as I want to keep the principles of a penetrating sealer and don't want to have to worry about stripping it off at a later date. Thanks

I have never stripped off the twp finish on any of my Wallets jobs or my own deck out back 6 years old with several coats of twp 116 on it. J.

How would the garapa look with a twp finish with more a brown tint? Would it increase the UV protection and still look good?

A mix of 2 parts twp dark oak,3 parts twp cedar tone natural makes a real nice golden brown color on garapa and of course the more color the more uv protection. John
