The last time I stained our deck I used Cabot Oil Deck Stain in an opaique version. It has held up better than any deck stain I have used. I stained the bench with Austrailian Timber Oil by Cabot at the same time. It has held up equally well. I like the look of the Timber oil and would like to do the whole deck with it. It has a nice sheen that the stain lacks. Any opinions about whether this is a good idea?
