I just got done staining our new Ipe deck with Woodzotic and was pleased with the results. As I couldn't find a picture of what the stain would look like when applied, I was a little apprehensive before ordering. Now I'll just have to wait and see how it holds up.

By the way, I did not sand before applying and didn't have any trouble.

which ones are gonna require the deck to be sanded at some point? that way, if they are the type of product that builds up to the point where the deck will need to be sanded/stripped at some point in its lifetime, I'll kick them off my list immediately.

Now that it's been a year or more which product did you use that gave you the success of no sanding before and between staining.

TWP put down corectlety will never have to be stripped off. Light sanding might be wanted on the cap rial inbetween recoats. J.
