HELP! Protecting Western Red Cedar Deck

I'm based in the UK and have just spent a fortune installing my Western Red Cedar Clear deck. I love the colours of the wood but I want to protect the deck from weathering - I don't want it to silver but at the same time I want to retain the original colours.

There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of advice in the UK as to what to do here. So far I've found that the only way to protect the deck AND have UV protection to stop it from going grey whilst also offering a reasonable maintenance schedule is by staining the wood but then I'll loose the colours. Products I've considered so far are Sikkens HLS and Sansin Dec.

I can oil the wood which will retain the colour but not offer any UV protection meaning that it will silver and I have to keep to oil at least once possibly twice per year.

Has anyone found a way of maintaining the original colours of the wood but at the same time protecting it from UV and if so what kind of maintenance schedule am I looking at to keep it looking good?
