I am about to choose a color to paint the top rail and 3 by 3 posts on my soon to be new deck. The railing will be a cable rail with 3 by 3 posts and some round posts. I am okay with choosing the stainless steel color for the round posts but almost stumped on the color for the 3 by 3s. Here's the challenge. The deck will be stained with TWP Dark Oak, translucent stain, but put on lightly not real dark. Two coats. So, I have a choice of any Sherwin Williams colors and although there are many, I am thinking a bronze sort of color. There are so many I am not sure how to choose other than just putting up against the deck. Has anyone painted their top rail with a great Sherwin Williams paint that looks like bronze?
