Concrete stain

I have a question about the possibility of staining pavers. We bought a house with the red/charcoal octagon shaped patio. The problem is the house is a golden brown color trimmed in dark brown. I was wondering if attempting to stain them a dark brown would work for me. In my opinion, getting rid of that red would improve the color balance. Does anyone have an opinion?
