Armour wood

Has anyone use Armour wood found at Lowes? I need to make some porch columns and the wood looks like it would work well. It claims to have a 30-year warranty against rot and the boards are knot free and straight. I was going to go with pvc pre-made post but the style just does not fit my old house. The Armour wood is not cheep, it will come out to about $100 per post just for the boards.
Thanks

RE: Armour wood

Its total non load bearing, can not be installed 6'' close to any water or dirt, is not protected against warping, twisting or spliting.

In other words its some high priced preasure treated lumber that cant take ground/water contact. So what the Hell is it good for??? J.
