| I live in Maine where the ground could heave. I want to build a Brick patio in my back yeard about 14x16. I've been collecting bricks that are listed for free on Craigslist. Now I am starting to get close to the amount of bricks I need and I'm looking into everything else.
I don't have a lot of money to spend on this project. Is it possible for me to just lay the bricks down on compacted soil? If I skip the gravel part, how bad do you think it will be? Any advice is appreciated. |
