| Hi, building a small deck off a historic home, and would ideally like to continue the wide plank pine floor look on a 50sqft deck/landing off the LR and a screen porch.
Is it crazy to use non PT pine as the flooring surface, provided I seal it? I dont like the look and chemicals that come with PT, have a baby, etc. Other option would be cedar. Thanks. |

| Cedar would be a much better choice, and rot resistant. However, you must maintain any wood you use (seal) or it will rot. |

| Untreated pine would not last long at all. |
