The only thing I know for sure is I am going with wood. The more I read the more confused I'm becoming--pressure treated 5/4 versus cedar 5/4---and maybe 2" material is worth it---is better and more durable
Today, I've stumbled across cypress as something to consider. I don't want to pay for the S American hard wood and have read that Cypress might be a good alternative

Would appreciate any thoughts--experience using cypress deck boards
